I was "given" a puppy that was found roaming the streets with her brother. They had no identification and nobody claimed her so she came to me. She is a Dachshund mixed with who knows what and was about 4 lbs. and roughly 10 weeks when I got her.
Alexandra is my first ever pet and she was very aggressive from day one. Since I had no experience with pets I allowed her to itimidate me (spoiled her too) and she soon knew she was the boss. She bit me often when she was thwarted, pooped where the spirit moved her, tore the curtains, and was a real pain. Finally, I was smart enough to know I needed help. I love her dearly but this was no fun. After a very unsuccessful attempt at group obedience class, I requested a personal trainer and that is when Sabrina came to our house.
Sabrina was great and soon we were making progress. It took a lot of work and consistency to make Alexandra understand that I am the boss but, with Sabrina's patient support, we are a success. Alexandra is now a sweet, gentle little girl, that behaves like a lady. She is a joy to have around. Thanks Sabrina you're a great trainer.
